Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive Bio-Psycho-Social clinical assessments, treatments and care for consumers and their families. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering evidence-based and best-practice care to enhance recovery from mental disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support through primary, secondary and tertiary consultation to services, identifying complex needs and prioritizing consumer, family and significant others' needs
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to generic and discipline-specific clinical expertise
  • Manage a caseload of consumers as the primary treating clinician within a multidisciplinary team that emphasizes person-centered, family-inclusive and community-based care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g., Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy) with current registration. A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting is also required.
