About this role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with consumers, their carers and supporters to provide high quality, recovery-oriented services.

With the support of our Senior Social Worker, you will focus on enhancing the delivery of Social Work services within our Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU) setting.

Your responsibilities will include guiding and supporting the provision of specialist psycho-social assessment and systemic analysis, as well as providing consultation around targeted psychosocial interventions to support families and carers.

You will also play a crucial role in maintaining and establishing robust supports in the community to enhance recovery and prevent relapse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop care plans that address the complex needs of consumers.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to consumers, carers and other health professionals on psychosocial interventions and recovery-oriented practice.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of consumer interactions and progress.
Requirements:
  • Clinical experience of at least 2 years post qualification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychosocial assessment, formulation, care coordination and evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies, including the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act.
