We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility.Job Description:Come and be part of our Coke Plant 2 Asset Development team. As a Mechanical Project Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to support capital and R&M projects to drive continuous improvement of Coke plant assets.
  • Develop customer requirement specifications by liaising with internal and external resources.
  • Plan, stage, and work through each aspect of the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise maintenance and install activities ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Ensure project documentation is completed including drawings, manuals, and punch lists.
Requirements:To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A background in fabrication or mechanical fitting.
  • Experience interpreting structural fabrication drawings and welding processes.
  • The ability to influence peers and colleagues to meet operational requirements.
  • Knowledge of plant process, equipment problem solving, and reliability improvement.
  • Exposure with document control and reporting processes.
