Key Responsibilities- Assume accountability for the delivery of sub-contractual trade requirements, ensuring subcontractors complete their work within time, cost, and quality obligations.
- Liaise with Site and Project Engineers to issue site instructions and provide cost forecasting advice to the Project Administrator.
- Ensure familiarity with the Subcontract agreement 'Scope of Works' and review all documentation issued to subcontractors to limit variations.
- Maintain construction records in Daily Diaries to provide evidence for subcontractor claims.
- Ensure progress on-site is in accordance with programs to meet milestones and resource requirements.
- Control and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring a clear and clean work area and avoiding clashes that may affect productivity outcomes.
- Examine documentation for completeness and constructability to identify and correct hindrances to future activities.
- Manage the Defect Inspection process for service trades to guarantee Mirvac's quality standards.
- Comply with the Mirvac HSE Management System policies and procedures relevant to your work area.
- 5+ years of experience on large-scale commercial projects.
- Experience in working in a collaborative delivery team.
- Recent experience as a site supervisor on multi-story residential and commercial projects.
- Confidence in communicating with Senior Management and subcontractors.
- Ability to write a short-term construction program.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of structures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to identify problems early and find solutions.
