Job DescriptionThe role of Athlete Wellbeing and Performance Coach will involve delivering high-quality support to QAS-supported athletes. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualised wellbeing support to athletes, assessing needs and tailoring strategies to each athlete's stage of development and high-performance journey.
- Collaborating with performance support teams to integrate wellbeing into daily training environments and athlete performance plans.
- Supporting athletes to build skills, strategies, and confidence needed to navigate elite sport, maintain wellbeing, and pursue education, career, and life opportunities.
- Facilitating connections with education providers, employers, and community organisations to create flexible dual career options.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong knowledge of athlete wellbeing and high-performance psychology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- High level of organisational and time management skills.
