Occupational Therapist Opportunity

You have the chance to work as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic multidisciplinary team that provides personalized treatments across Residential Aged Care and Community settings.

The role involves offering innovative allied health services to clients with diverse needs. You will be involved in assessing and developing comprehensive treatment plans to support daily living activities, mobility, transfers, falls risk prevention, equipment requirements, and skin integrity management.

  • In the community, you will see consumers referred through government-funded models, including Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and Private funding.
  • Key duties include providing clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the organization and its clients, working within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.
