About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Psychologist to lead our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic priorities, developing and coordinating psychology services, and providing clinical supervision and mentorship to our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professional leadership and development of psychology services within CAMHS
  • Driving strategic priorities and service development in psychology and allied health
  • Providing clinical supervision and support to senior psychologists and other staff
  • Developing and maintaining career and professional pathways for psychologists within CAMHS
  • Providing high-quality clinical leadership and exercising professional judgment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Approved supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia at all levels of supervision
  • Experience in discipline-specific professional coordination, strategic consultation, and leadership
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in clinical leadership and service planning
  • Extensive knowledge of psychology and mental health contemporary methods, principles, and practices
