We are seeking an experienced Water Operations Manager to join our team at Belgravia Health & Leisure Group Pty Ltd. This is a great opportunity for a qualified professional who values water safety and loves working with people, to provide leadership and coaching to our teams.

This role is designed to provide leadership and guidance to the Duty Manager and Lifeguard teams, while assisting the Venue Managers in managing the day-to-day operations of multiple seasonal pools. This role is hands-on with a focus on safety, supervision, risk management, facility maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple seasonal pools
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Duty Manager and Lifeguard teams
  • Work closely with Venue Managers to manage pool operations and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
  • Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within a leisure facility
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role
