As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as showering, bathing, and grooming, as well as undertaking household tasks like cleaning and cooking.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to clients, including showering, bathing, and grooming
- Undertake household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as toileting and continence management
- Contribute to day centre activities, including transport, shopping assistance, and therapy services
- Work collaboratively with the Optimal Ageing Team to achieve client-directed goals
- Current driver's licence and access to reliable transport
- Ability to work autonomously in the community
- Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and display empathy towards clients and their families
