Job Description:

The Superannuation Specialist plays a crucial role in directing the workflow and acting as the resident technical authority on superannuation legislation and compliance.

 

Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end superannuation processing tasks, providing technical support and subject matter expertise on superannuation regulations, preparing and reviewing documentation for lodgements and audits, collaborating with accountants and compliance teams, monitoring regulatory developments and maintaining accurate records across superannuation platforms.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your knowledge and skills in superannuation administration to make a positive impact on clients' lives.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce or Accounting
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in superannuation administration, technical services or fund operations
  • Deep understanding of Australian superannuation legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience working with SMSFs, including handling contributions, pensions and member balances
  • Familiarity with systems such as BGL 360 or similar administration platforms
  • Strong attention to detail, process-orientation and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills
  • High level of compliance awareness and risk management
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret regulatory updates
  • Collaborative team-oriented approach with strong communication skills

There will be a requirement to be in office on some ad hoc days.
