Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the freight process for contracted cartage carriers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and maintaining carrier and distributor rates, including creating and uploading scheduled rate adjustment files.
  • Managing freight error logs to ensure accurate and timely payment to cartage carriers.
  • Maintaining customer delivery master data in SAP as per advice from the freight coordinator and customer solutions.
  • Providing advice to business managers on queries relating to freight and cost recovery.
  • Validating supplier transactions to determine accuracy and contract compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commercially focused mindset with excellent analytical skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of the industry supply chain and operating knowledge of logistics.
  • Ability to prioritize administrative tasks effectively.
