About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee our Quality Management System (QMS) and its processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Clinical Governance Framework and strong knowledge of compliance, legislation, and care outcomes in aged care and disability sectors.

  • We estimate that this role offers a competitive salary of around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Main Responsibilities
  1. Leading and managing the QMS and its processes to ensure continuous improvement.
  2. Ensuring compliance with accreditation standards in aged care, home care, the Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  3. Coordinating and preparing for external reviews and audits.
  4. Monitoring non-compliance issues and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Managing complaints processes and ensuring prompt resolution.
  6. Promoting a culture of quality improvement across the organisation.
Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline.
  • Experience working within a Clinical Governance Framework.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, legislation, and care outcomes in aged care and disability sectors.
  • Proven ability to implement and influence organisation-wide quality initiatives.
  • High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office, QMS, and benchmarking tools.
