To achieve this, we have invested in a state-of-the-art aluminium finishing plant and continuously perfect our technologies and processes.

Our facility features three aluminium extrusion lines, two high-tech anodising plants, two horizontal paint lines, and one vertical paint line.

About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Dandenong South location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of manufacturing duties, including:

  • Working with aluminium extrusion machines and ancillary equipment
  • Attending to general breakdowns and performing routine preventive maintenance work
  • Diagnosing faults, identifying appropriate actions, and interpreting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings
  • Disassembling and assembling machinery, as required, and performing welding, machining, and fabrication tasks

About the Shifts

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime when available.

The available shifts are:

  • Afternoon shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm with a 15% shift loading
  • Night shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am with a 30% shift loading

About You - Skills & Experience

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A minimum of two years of recent experience as a maintenance fitter in a manufacturing environment
  • A trade qualification(s) and good communication skills
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, as well as intermediate computer skills
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team and a good attitude with a preference for being hands-on
  • Some weekend availability is a must

Highly Desirable

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A forklift license (LF) and knowledge of PLC, which would be an advantage
