Geotechnical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnician to support our operations in concrete, aggregate, masonry, and rock mechanics testing.
This role involves field sampling and laboratory-based testing in line with Australian Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process samples for laboratory testing.
- Conduct field and lab-based tests such as concrete slump and cylinder casting, aggregate grading and flakiness index, rock uniaxial compression and point load index, and masonry block compressive strength.
- Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and routine maintenance.
- Record, log, and communicate test results accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and NATA-compliant work environment.
- Support other CMT tasks as required.

What We're Looking For in Our Ideal Candidate:
- Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Techniques, Construction Materials Testing, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in concrete, aggregate, rock, or masonry testing (field or lab).
- Understanding of relevant Australian Standards.
- Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy materials and outdoor work.
- Current WA C Class Driver's Licence (required).
- White Card (preferred).
