Job Title: Underground Surveillance Officer

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Underground Operations Specialists to support our client with an ongoing project located in Regional NSW. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for providing an underground surveillance and assurance function to ensure underground works being undertaken by the appointed Principal Contractor align with agreed deliverables.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure client requirements are met and the Contractor is complying with the client's design and construction specifications.
  • Identify potential issues proactively to prevent short, medium, and long-term legacy problems that could compromise the project asset's performance.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Geotechnical Manager on the status of observed issues requiring mitigation in the field.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles within the infrastructure construction or related industries.
  • Background in construction trades or supervision combined with relevant training and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
