About this Role

Job Summary

As a Workforce Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding clients to achieve suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders as part of managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into their chosen program.
  • Assess job seeker skills, abilities, identify barriers and intervention strategies.
  • In consultation with our job seekers, develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities.
  • Reverse market job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.
  • Provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build rapport, grow and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and job seekers.
  • Enjoy achieving KPIs - securing meaningful work for vulnerable individuals.
  • Holding a current NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one is essential.
