Position Overview

As a Senior Human Resources Rig Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in aligning human resource strategies with operational goals within the rig environment. Your expertise will be essential in fostering a productive workforce and ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designated Offshore Installation Managers (OIMs) and Rig Managers to strategize and implement effective personnel movements.
  • Provide guidance to leadership on employee relations matters and performance management frameworks.
  • Participate in weekly discussions with OIMs and Rig Managers to deliver pertinent HR insights that support operational and staffing objectives.
  • Design and conduct training sessions aimed at enhancing leadership's understanding of HR-related topics.
  • Assist in succession planning and talent development initiatives in partnership with the organizational development team.
  • Initiate personnel transactions and ensure accurate maintenance of employee data within the HR information system.
  • Carry out investigations offshore as necessary.

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirement - Some college education. Relevant work experience or offshore experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Preferred Qualification - Bachelor's Degree.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum Requirement - 5 to 8 years of experience in operational roles within a rig environment.
  • Preferred Experience - Over 8 years in operational rig-based positions.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
