The role of the Employment Specialist will focus on supporting Ex-Offender or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander customers by providing intensive mentoring to ensure their transition into employment is successful and sustained.
This role is being offered on a full-time, ongoing basis and will be based at a regional location.
You'll also experience the work-life balance that comes with working a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week.
You will still receive the remuneration of a full-time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice.

About YouTo be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse range of clients, employers, and staff.
- High level of interpersonal skills with an ability to represent Workskil Australia to our customers, funding bodies, employers, RTOs, Indigenous Communities, and other stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of the local labour market.
- An understanding of case management framework.
- Sales and customer service experience.
- Extensive working knowledge of federally funded Employment Programs and funding models.
- Experience mentoring Indigenous customers in employment.
- Experience in working with ex-offenders in an employment or rehabilitation setting.
- Proven ability to work in an outcome-based, high-pressure environment, positively and with enthusiasm.
You will also be required to have:
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ability to type (minimum 30 words per minute).
- Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development (preferably) or willing to study.
- Hold a current driver's license and have own vehicle with the willingness to travel across the region.
