About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Employment Mentor to join our team in Geraldton, WA. As a Specialist Employment Mentor, you will play a critical role in empowering prior offenders and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander customers to achieve lasting success through intensive mentoring and job placement services.

This full-time, ongoing position offers a competitive salary with salary packaging options, a 9-day working fortnight, and a dedicated day off every second week. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders, utilizing your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage and support them.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong ability to engage with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Has solid knowledge of the local labor market and employment programs.
  • Has experience mentoring Indigenous customers and working with prior offenders.
  • Has a positive, outcome-focused attitude and can work effectively in high-pressure environments.

You should also have:

  • A Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development (or willingness to study).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and typing skills (minimum 30 wpm).
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for regional travel.
