AI Engineering Team Lead

Xero is a cloud-based accounting software company that helps small businesses automate routine tasks, surface actionable insights, and connect with the right data, advisors, and apps.

We are looking for a highly skilled Team Lead to join our AI Product Engineering team in the Small Business and Growth Division. The successful candidate will be accountable for the successful delivery of key AI initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing software delivery and engineering teams using Lean-Agile techniques. They will be responsible for leading, developing, and growing a high-performing team through effective hiring, coaching, mentoring, and setting clear direction.

The Team Lead will drive continuous improvement through proactive reviewing, developing, and implementing best practices ways of working. They will ensure the team's delivery pipeline is flowing at a predictable and sustainable pace, proactively identifying and addressing blockers to maintain momentum.
