Project Manager Role

This role is responsible for the successful delivery of projects that facilitate risk transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive project plans, ensuring all tasks, timelines, and resource requirements are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Proactively engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, provide timely updates, and address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, collaborating with the project team to develop effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Deliver regular and detailed status updates on project delivery, highlighting progress, challenges, and next steps to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and aligns with the established project delivery framework, facilitating transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years as a dedicated project manager or 5 years in business/administration analysis working on client projects/fund installations.
  • At least 5 years in the superannuation industry; insurance or banking experience considered.
  • Demonstrable skills in project management & delivery.
  • Excellent planning skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) - documentation, negotiation, organisational and relationship skills.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of superannuation, including defined benefit plans, pensions and insurance.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Project.
