This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously, managing your own caseload while still being connected to a broader organizational support structure. You will be responsible for providing focused home-based services for older clientele (65+) with a variety of health conditions, accessing services through their Home Care Package (HCP).
Our service is built on a foundation of innovation, focusing on clients' strengths, goal-directed interventions, and maximising independence and autonomy. You will have access to regular one-to-one clinical supervision and support from the Clinical Lead.
Job DescriptionAs a qualified Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential services in the Mildura region. Your primary responsibility will be to provide home-based Physiotherapy services to older adults with varying health conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Experience working in the Community Aged Care sector with clients receiving services through their Home Care Package
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical practice working with a variety of health conditions in 65+ year old clientele
- Independent Practice: This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously, managing your own caseload while still being connected to a broader organisational support structure.
- Future Considerations: While primarily a home-based role, there may be future opportunities for involvement in centre-based services, potentially including dedicated consultation and treatment spaces as our services develop to meet community needs.
