
Procurement Specialist

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our organization's Corporate Services Group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating procurement contracts and conducting due diligence assessments to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Providing proactive support and input for identified improvement initiatives, driving continuous enhancement within the team.
Furthermore, you will ensure the integrity and completeness of contract data by analyzing and reviewing its contents before publication. Additionally, you will support and ensure all authorizations are completed and recorded in line with our policies and procedures.
Required Skills & QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement within a government setting or a large, complex organization.
- Previous experience in vendor administration or contract administration.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various functions, suppliers, and individuals to achieve common goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
- Experience with eProcurement tools (such as Oracle JD Edwards, SAP, Zycus) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
