Project Lead Specialist

In this senior role, you'll take the reins on delivering complex projects, coaching delivery teams, driving consistency, and embedding quality systems and standards.

About The Role

You will be responsible for leading a team of project managers, supervisors, and contract administrators across various urban and remote project environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the safe and high-quality delivery of projects.
  • Oversee and mentor a delivery team including project managers, site managers, supervisors, junior project managers, and contract administrators.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and key stakeholders.
  • Own health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and quality assurance (QA) performance across all sites.
  • Drive consistent use of project management software across all delivery workflows.
  • Visit project sites regularly to support your teams and lead through presence.
  • Solve delivery issues early and make informed decisions under pressure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial construction with a proven track record in project delivery.
  • A strong background in leading multiple teams and projects across commercial and/or defence sectors.
  • Remote delivery experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with design and construct (D&C) and Australia Standard (AS) contracts.
  • Experience driving adoption of project management software.
