Children and Family Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a vibrant community setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of children (0–8) through evidence-based, family-focused care.
- You will work with families to address health and developmental needs of children in a community context, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered integrated care model.
- Assess and provide therapy intervention services to children up to 8 years of age within a community health setting, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each family.
- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A recognised Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Demonstrated experience in providing Paediatric Occupational Therapy services.
- Ability to work in partnership with families to provide effective intervention for children within a limited session model.
- Experience working effectively with families from differing psychosocial, socioeconomic and/or culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team within a community setting.
- Highly developed and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
