Senior Medical Practitioner

An exceptional opportunity exists for a qualified medical practitioner to provide expert care in Orthopaedic Surgery.
This role involves collaborating with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Gosford Hospital and Wyong Hospitals, to deliver high-quality medical services under Sessional arrangements at Gosford Hospital and Fee For Service arrangements at Wyong Hospital.
- The ideal candidate will be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or hold equivalent specialist recognition.
- They should have appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Completion of a 12-month Fellowship in Complex Trauma and Revision Arthroplasty is also required.
Successful applicants will work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
They should also be willing and able to lead and supervise medical and surgical trainees, residents, and students, and have an interest in quality improvement methodologies.
