Are you a dedicated medical professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced General Medical Practitioner to join our healthcare team in a full-time permanent opportunity.

About the Role:

As a General Medical Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary care to patients according to Australian General Practice Standards. You will also provide preventive care services, including screening for cardiovascular and cancer diseases. Additionally, you will identify acute medical issues and sick patients, and take necessary actions to treat them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care as per Australian General Practice Standards
  • Preventive care Screening for Cardiovascular & Cancer
  • Identify acute medical issues and sick patients
  • Prior comparable skills and training in Emergency medicine
  • Prior comparable work experience in General Practice
  • ECG interpretation
  • Basic medical diagnosis of respiratory disease, diabetes, Hypertension
  • Identifying red flags based on clinical history and observation findings
Selection Criteria:
  • MBBS degree or higher qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration or Eligibility to qualify for the PESCI pathway for the AHPRA limited registration
  • Demonstrate commitment to live and work locally for a long term
  • Demonstrate willingness and ability to gain new skills, and knowledge, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Completion of CPD requirements as per the RACGP standard
  • At least 3 years of prior work experience as a General Practitioner
  • Previous experience in emergency care, high dependency care, and intensive care would be highly regarded
