Senior Construction Scheduler

Job Summary:
As a skilled Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining construction programs that align with agreed methodologies. Your key activities will include identifying key milestones, constraints, and risks, ensuring accurate schedules are maintained based on the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain construction programs aligning with agreed methodologies.
- Identify and document key activities, milestones, and constraints.
- Establish and maintain accurate construction, procurement, and deliverables schedules.
- Ensure planning processes and controls adhere to the Construction Management System and contract requirements.
- Contribute to identifying, mitigating, and responding to project risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain standards for program, progress, and scheduling data in P6.
- Prepare staging documentation for meetings and reviews.
- Coordinate monthly reviews and updates of the project program with delivery teams.
- Advise lead planner on report interpretation and analysis of the Critical Path.
- Provide insights into project performance, forward planning, and corrective actions to maximise project delivery outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in complex infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of planners.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
