Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Night Shift Fitter to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Bendigo, Victoria.

Job Description:

The Night Shift Fitter will be responsible for performing mechanical work on rail rolling stock, including disconnection, removal, and reconnection of rail components. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanics or electrical trade, with experience in heavy equipment being highly regarded.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on rail rolling stock.
  • Carry out repairs and installations of new parts.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of completed projects.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • A current Forklift Licence and experience in using it.
  • A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to work a rotating Night Shift roster, including weekdays and weekends.

Applicants must also demonstrate a strong desire to learn and improve their skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
