Transport Planning Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled transport planning expert to join our Integrated Transport & Mobility team in Perth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultancy services in the transport planning market in Western Australia and across the ANZ region. They will lead the growth of the team in the Perth office and be responsible for project delivery and project management.

The role will involve leading technical development of more junior resources, engaging with high performers in a team environment to facilitate knowledge sharing and coaching. The successful candidate will also support their performance unit to ensure it can thrive in a global setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultancy services in transport planning to clients in Western Australia and across the ANZ region
  • Lead the growth of the team in the Perth office
  • Responsible for project delivery and project management
  • Technical lead for transport planning and assessment projects
  • Provide technical guidance for transport planning advice on large strategic consulting and design projects
  • Drive business development and identify opportunities for the team
  • Develop and maintain strong key client relationships

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective communication and commercial awareness skills
  • Business development skills and ability to prepare proposals and work with clients
  • Working knowledge of the local environment and relevant industry, particularly working within the Western Australian Transport Sector
  • Knowledge and application of transport planning concepts and tasks
  • Demonstrated understanding of the interfaces between transport planning, traffic engineering and transport modelling and infrastructure design
