Job Description

The Role:

As a clinician, you will join a dynamic team of professionals providing clinical services to individuals with complex diagnoses and disabilities. You will work across various age groups and client populations, utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and observations to identify challenging behaviors and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to create personalized Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans.
  • Implement and review PBS plans, focusing on increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and reducing restrictive practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, or related fields.
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or ability to become registered.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses.
