Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
FSH also provides specialised services such as heart and lung transplants and hyperbaric medicine.
South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) delivers quality, safe, and effective hospital and health services across a catchment area of over 3300 square kilometres in southern Perth.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is responsible for contributing to and overseeing the delivery of quality patient care within their specialty.
The CNS collaborates to provide a multidisciplinary approach to trauma patient management, enhances patient outcomes through developing standards of practice, implementing clinical changes, initiating research and quality improvement activities, and providing expert consultation.
Initially, this 12-month position will focus on service development, including reviewing current trauma care, coordinating care for trauma inpatients, and improving data collection.
The successful applicant will have trauma nursing experience and training, and support clinical review of patients.
