\t* Provide project management leadership, direction, and training on building projects
\t* Organise regular meetings with internal clients to understand ideas for future building projects
\t* Work with clients to develop project scope and brief for proposed building projects in accordance with our Project Management Framework (PMF)
\t* Act as 'gatekeeper' by reviewing project briefs at the PMF Initiate Stage and make recommendations on their inclusion in the future building program
\t* Assist clients in submitting grant applications for external funding of approved building projects
\t* Work with the Assets Team to ensure there is a comprehensive Asset Management Plan and budget for each property
\t* Work with Council's Design Coordinator and organise the transfer of major projects with a budget more than $0.25 M
\t* Develop PMF documentation to support minor project with a budget less than $0.25 M
\t* Establish PMF project team for all minor building projects
\t* Provide an initial review of project briefs for new initiatives developed by business units and make recommendations to the Supervisor on their inclusion in the building program
\t* Develop project designs and budgets for minor projects at the PMF Plan Stage in conjunction with internal clients and designers
\t* Assist internal clients in the tender or quotation of minor building works in accordance with our policy and ensure that the works are satisfactorily completed to a high standard
\t* Manage the physical, human and financial resources to deliver cost quality outcomes within adopted budget parameters
\t* Undertake the Complete Stage of all minor project and review lessons learnt with the Project Management Officer
\t* Assist the Supervisor in the planning and budget estimation for cyclical works
\t* Maintain PMF dashboard and variations for budget, time, and scope
\t* Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Supervisor which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence, and training
\t* Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to our Policies and Procedures regarding WHS
\t* Observe appropriate Policies and Procedures regarding day-to-day operations including Equal Employment Opportunity policies, our Dress Code and Standards Policy and our Code of Conduct

\t* Qualification in an analytical discipline or relevant equivalent work experience
\t* At least ten years experience in the real estate or building industry ideally to include building project management
\t* Class C Drivers Licence
\t* Relevant qualifications in project management
\t* An interest or experience in building technology and an understanding of building materials

\t* Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with our RDO guidelines
\t* This position requires you to wear a compulsory uniform as per our Our People Dress Code Standards
\t* Our People are required to present a smart and professional image to the public at all times including when in public and when working remotely
\t* This position involves working in a predominantly indoor environment and using a computer is considered a core component of the role
\t* There may be occasional visits to other work locations
\t* The position requires an average level of aerobic and physical fitness to undertake occasional physical activities, such as walking and lifting, along with general manual handling tasks as part of a normal working environment
\t* A medical declaration is required for this position
\t* This position is delegated with certain powers, authorities, duties and functions of Council under the Albury City Delegations of Authority in accordance with section 378 of the Local Government Act
\t* This position requires evidence of a current Australian National Police Check
\t* This position is subject to alcohol and other drug testing
\t* This position is located at the Albury City Administration Building, 553 Kiewa Street, Albury with frequent visits to external sites as required
