Telecommunications Technicians & Riggers Wanted

We are seeking experienced and skilled professionals to join our clients' teams. As a technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure across Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large infrastructure construction projects for leading telecommunication carriers and ICT network providers. You will have the chance to explore international markets for quality resources in the wireless space.

The role involves installing and maintaining WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies, radio base stations, terminating Hybriflex Cables and Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, combiners, DC power rack systems including rectifiers, batteries, and load testing, commissioning and integration of RBS/BTS into network, conducting PIM, VSWR, sweep, and fibre testing, troubleshooting, replacing defective equipment, and monitoring site performance, installing and commissioning microwave indoor and outdoor units, software installation, testing, and commissioning of sites, building and maintaining collaborative business relationships with client support personnel, and building and maintaining strong working relationships with team and business staff.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Telecommunications or Engineering science, electronics, or microprocessors, or equivalent experience as a telecommunications technician if no qualification is held. They will also require current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket, First Aid and CPR Licence (our client will provide training), Construction White Card (able to obtain online), Full Manual Drivers Licence (can be international drivers licence), Radhaz RF EME Awareness; Telstra, NBN, Vodafone, Optus 3G/4G experience will be highly regarded.
