System Integration Specialist

The System Integration Specialist will be part of a team that develops, integrates and deploys secure government systems in support of Defence. This role involves applying skills in the development, integration and deployment of security-accredited ICT systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting the development, introduction to service, sustainment and enhancement of mission planning software and hardware
  • Maintenance and configuration of physical servers, networking hardware and mission planning laptops
  • Installing, configuring, testing and deploying software
  • Providing support on Defence strategic networks
  • Assisting with security accreditation activities for Mission Planning Systems
  • Identifying and managing technical risks while contributing to program documentation and reporting
Key Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with experience in Defence ICT environments and skills in areas such as:

  • MS Windows platforms (including imaging, security and server environments)
  • Administration of client operating systems (Windows 10-11)
  • Software scripting, configuration management and Office applications
  • Understanding of Defence ICT security accreditation requirements

Desirable skills include:

  • Aviation Mission Planning systems and AC-C2CS environment
  • Networking (Layer 2/3), Linux systems administration, SQL databases, VMware/Hyper-V, McAfee and geospatial data
  • Software testing, backup/recovery tools and advanced Office applications
