Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to oversee the management of equipment under long-term service agreements (LTSA). The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in equipment health management and work closely with regional field operations to maintain and enhance service quality delivery and customer relationships.

The Fleet Manager will be responsible for providing direction to Fleet Engineers and customer field personnel for operational and technical activities. They will also serve as a technical focal point for customer and solar technical matters related to LTSA-covered equipment.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Investigating alerts, documenting steps, and providing resolution in a timely manner.
  • Promoting equipment health-related alerts to Customer Advisory to Change in Health (CATCH) and documenting all actions taken.
  • Tracking engine history for covered equipment.
  • Optimizing run life while meeting operational needs.
  • Documenting instances of unplanned downtime using the InSight System equipment state characterization.
  • Maintaining and updating InSight System equipment data characterization.
  • Managing and delivering on LTSA Key Performance Indicators.
  • Providing remote troubleshooting and analysis of operating parameters for covered equipment.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management and excellent communication skills. They must be able to effectively communicate with key Solar and customer personnel to ensure clear communications.

Additional requirements include:

  • Experience in managing equipment under long-term service agreements (LTSA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively to Solar or customer offices or facilities.
  • Knowledge of commercial support functions related to LTSA.
