As a Fraud Investigator with our client, you will be responsible for undertaking complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents.

The role requires the provision of detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. You will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting interviews, preparing statements and affidavits, collecting, securing and managing evidential material and confidential information
  • Preparing cases and briefs of evidence for referral to relevant parties such as the Australian Federal Police and Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions
  • Providing evidence in criminal and civil court as a representative
  • Analysing and processing information to produce accurate and informative reports, undertaking administration, reporting and project work as required

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or its equivalent to conduct complex and sensitive criminal investigation activities in accordance with the Australian Government Investigation Standards
  • Government experience is desired, Australian Citizenship is required
