Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Underwriter to join our team. As a Credit Underwriter, you will play a critical role in reviewing financial positions for Home Loan applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Review financial positions for Home Loan applications, identifying potential risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Service: Act as the point of contact between Brokers, Clients, and stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering advocacy.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products and technology enhancements.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and identify potential risks.
  • DCA/Underwriting Authority: Possess DCA/Underwriting Authority or equivalent experience.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft suite, Slack, and Confluence (or other collaboration tools).
