About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technical Operations Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Data Center Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, including risk management, corrective and preventative maintenance, vendor management, and metric reporting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will participate in a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, manage on-site contractors and vendors, establish performance benchmarks, and generate reports on critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance. You will also work with DC managers and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need 4+ years of relevant work experience in maintaining a DC or critical space facility, strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong leadership and organizational skills. You will also need to be able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment and have experience with Service Management systems, MOPs, and SWMS.

Preferred Qualifications

A degree or technical degree and relevant experience are preferred, as well as 6+ years of Data Center Engineering/Operations Experience and 4+ years of Data Center Management Experience.
