Materials Coordination Role

We are seeking an experienced Materials Coordinator to join our team at our Ipswich facility. This role will involve managing the day-to-day operations of our stores, ensuring that goods are stored correctly and efficiently.

  • Raising requisitions for materials and supplies
  • Coordinating the preparation and dispatch of materials for overhaul
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with materials
  • Conducting stock counts and inventory management
Skill Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of materials control and logistics processes
  • A good understanding of material procurement and purchasing procedures
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably within the rail or heavy haul industry
  • Forklift qualification and a full UK driving license
