The Smith Family is a national children's education charity that empowers disadvantaged kids to thrive by providing emotional, practical and financial support.



Our Learning for Life program starts in the early years of learning development and continues through primary and high school, helping children and young people overcome educational inequality caused by poverty.



Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Partnership Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Learning for Life team, you will build strong partnerships with families in their community, connecting them with services, information and support to help them succeed.



You will:




  • Develop and maintain relationships with partner schools, referrals, links to programs and community relationships to support strong school attendance, achievement and post-school pathways
  • Complete administrative tasks and data entry to plan your day and focus your efforts
  • Engage with community organisations to link families to services, information and support
  • Contribute as a valued member of a local Learning for Life Team, collaborating with the broader organisation
  • Foster personal and professional growth through on-the-job skill development and regular coaching with your leader


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience building strong relationships with families and community stakeholders, effective interpersonal and communication skills, autonomy, computer literacy, motivation and a current driver's licence.

An estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
