We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to support data-driven decision-making within the not-for-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities- Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather accurate, complete, and reliable data from various sources. Clean and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis.
- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from datasets. Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to inform business strategies.
- Reporting and Visualization: Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Present insights in a clear and understandable manner to support decision-making processes.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in data analytics, tools, and methodologies. Continuously improve analytical techniques and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a data or accounting related field. A high degree of numeracy.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The ability to work independently to navigate to the best outcome from imperfect real-world data.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel and Power BI.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
