Job Title: Procurement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at the City of Mandurah. As a key member of our Procurement Services team, you will be responsible for managing low to medium risk procurement processes, working with various stakeholders and across multiple project teams.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $87,623 - $102,693 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage low to medium risk procurement processes, including contract preparation and administration.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and meet procurement needs, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification or diploma in procurement, business, law, or related fields (desirable but not essential).
  • Three to five years' experience in procurement services and contract preparation in a local, state or federal government setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in a procurement team, including knowledge and understanding of procurement policies, guidelines and procedures within a local and public sector environment.
