Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. This role will be accountable for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst position, with previous knowledge of IT Security Tools such as EDR, Firewalls, Network Access Control. They will also have experience in working with a managed SOC and SIEM, and be able to operate autonomously while effectively participating as a team member.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring security controls are effectively operational;
  • First point of contact for IT Security Alerts;
  • Point of contact for audit and compliance activities;
  • Point of contact and facilitation of Local & Global SOC communication;
  • Review & recommend updates to security policies and standards;
  • Management of the IT Risk Register;
  • Coordination of regular Security Penetration & Vulnerability Testing;
  • Regular Security Reporting to IT Leadership Team;
  • Ensure any open security tasks are actioned by relevant team members; and
  • Reviewing system vulnerabilities and identifying deficiencies in system.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst position;
  • Previous knowledge of IT Security Tools such as EDR, Firewalls, Network Access Control;
  • Experience in working with a managed SOC and SIEM;
  • Ability to operate autonomously while effectively participate as a team member;
  • Report design creativity while meeting functional requirements;
  • Strong and creative problem solving and documentation skills;
  • You will enjoy working in a diverse environment across multiple business systems and will enjoy developing in your role.
