About The Role

As a Senior Solicitor, you will be responsible for leading a team in providing timely high-quality legal advice or developing plain language legal resources. You will also support and guide staff in delivering exceptional legal services, monitor legal developments to ensure the team's knowledge is up-to-date, and resource staff with relevant training and information.

The Statewide Advice Team works collaboratively and flexibly, with staff attending office meetings as required. As a Senior Solicitor, you are expected to be onsite with your team for training and supervision, contributing to a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

You possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing high-volume legal work in dynamic environments. You thrive in settings that require autonomy and collaboration, able to lead and support staff remotely while ensuring consistent performance and professional growth. Your ability to navigate difficult conversations professionally, combined with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, makes you an effective leader and contributor to business innovation.

  • Admission as a legal practitioner in NSW is essential.
  • A current unrestricted NSW Practising Certificate is required before starting work with us.
  • Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check is necessary.
  • Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency, or a valid visa to work in Australia is required.
