Senior Legal Counsel Role

The role of Senior Legal Counsel is to provide legal advice and support on significant regulatory matters. This includes litigation and class action cases involving key regulators such as ASIC, APRA, ACCC, and SIRA.

You will be responsible for monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and managing regulatory engagement on behalf of the organisation. You will also liaise with external counsel to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 7-8 years of PQE level experience working on complex regulatory investigations, preferably related to financial services regulation. A background in a top-tier law firm and some in-house experience would be highly desirable.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will work under pressure and tight deadlines. You will enjoy networking and building relationships easily.
