About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Database Reliability Specialist to join our mission-driven team, protecting people, processes, and technologies.

The role involves working on large-scale distributed systems with a focus on data plane services and automation in cloud environments.

You will be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of data components including Cassandra, Elastic Search/Open Search, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

Your tasks will include operating and automating properly configured clusters, understanding databases in Kubernetes, managing container images, and developing infrastructure services to support DevOps approach.

In this position, you will collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues, ensuring petabytes of critical business data are safe, secure, and available.

  • Maintain knowledge of data components including Cassandra, Elastic Search/Open Search, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Operate and automate properly configured clusters.
  • Understand databases in Kubernetes.
  • Manage container images.
  • Develop infrastructure services to support DevOps approach.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and availability.
