Overview Database Reliability Engineer (Remote, AUS) – Crowd Strike Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia Join Crowd Strike to contribute to a mission-driven team that protects people, processes and technologies.
We work on large-scale distributed systems with a focus on data plane services and automation in cloud environments.
What You'll Do Maintain a deep understanding of data components including Cassandra, Elastic Search/Open Search, Kafka, Zookeeper, My SQL and Postgre SQL, and operate and automate properly configured clusters.
Understand operating databases in Kubernetes and manage container images.
Develop infrastructure services to support a Dev Ops approach for Crowd Strike engineering teams.
Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues, regardless of when they occur.
Ensure petabytes of critical business data are safe, secure, and available.
