Job Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hospital Transporter.

This exciting opportunity will involve transporting patients and items throughout the hospital, providing assistance to patients within the clinical setting, and responding to requests by nursing staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collecting patient pharmacy items and other care requirements and delivering them to the required destination in a timely manner
  • Responding to requests by nursing staff and informing the Registered Nurse of any changes in the patient condition in case of an emergency or disaster
  • Providing assistance to patients within the clinical setting

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and night duty across a 7-day week roster
  • Problem-solving and prioritization skills with ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Meet physical demands of the position as listed in the job description
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Awareness of workplace health and safety principles
  • CURRENT DRIVER'S LICENCE REQUIRED
