Residential Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Casual Residential Practitioner. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people living in residential houses.
About the JobThe successful applicant will be responsible for providing support and care to young people, helping them to live safely within our houses. The role involves working closely with a team to create a supportive environment that promotes positive relationships and respect.
Casual shifts are available for active night roster 11:30pm – 9:00am and 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
Key Responsibilities- Support young people in achieving their goals and aspirations
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help young people cope with challenges
- Work collaboratively with a team to ensure a safe and supportive environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant recognised qualification
- An understanding of trauma-informed practice
- A current driver's licence
